Enterprise Sales Workflows

Enterprise organization

Problem

Regional sales users relied on a legacy iPad sales-enablement workflow that required significant manual effort before and after customer meetings. Reps had to gather account context, prepare discussion points, capture notes, and manage follow-up actions across separate workflows.

My Role

I own regional product direction for sales-enablement workflows. My contribution to the global transformation includes regional user needs, rollout priorities, contextual prompt experiences, and workflow validation.

Product decision

I defined contextual prompt experiences around the seller’s current task, so assistance could draw on the relevant workflow context.

Constraint

Regional user needs and rollout priorities had to fit a global platform and its delivery dependencies.

Workflow summary
  1. Prepare account context
  2. Support the meeting
  3. Summarize and follow up

Process

  • Worked with field users and business stakeholders to understand friction across pre-meeting, in-meeting, and post-meeting workflows.
  • Translated regional needs into product requirements and rollout priorities for the global platform.
  • Shaped AI-assisted workflows covering pre-meeting intelligence, RAG-based knowledge retrieval, contextual assistance, meeting transcription and summarization, action-item extraction, and recommendations.
  • Defined contextual prompt experiences across ~5 app pages based on the user's current task context.
  • Collaborated with Engineering, Salesforce/backend, Sales, and Compliance teams on enterprise-data dependencies, output review, and Responsible AI guardrails.
  • Balanced user value, business priorities, technical feasibility, and global platform dependencies during prioritization, while triaging 200+ inbound support signals from the field.

Outcome

Previous regional results

Earlier workflow and usability improvements, before the GenAI rollout, contributed to 10% sales-volume growth and a 20% improvement in stakeholder satisfaction.

Current AI rollout

The global MVP rollout is in progress. The regional platform supports 500+ field users; these figures do not measure the impact of the new AI experience.

Takeaway

Regional workflow needs remain central when contributing to a global platform. The AI rollout needs its own assessment, separate from historical regional results.
